a misalignment of one vertebra upon the other
Description
A subluxation results in abnormal mobility of the spine and irritation of the disc, facet joints and soft tissues around the spine. Limited movement and pain accompany subluxations.
Subluxation Condition Description
A subluxation may be found in any area of the spine:
- cervical spine (neck)
- thoracic spine (mid-back)
- lumbar spine (low back)
