Williamson Chiropractic Plan for Pain Relief and Prevention with Exercise
“Do I have to exercise?”
“Yes, you should if you want to feel better faster and prevent pain,“ your Williamson chiropractic encourages.
“How long do I have to exercise each day?”
“Not long, just properly,” Apple Country Chiropractic advises.
Exercise is not every Williamson back pain or neck pain patient’s ’thing’. Apple Country Chiropractic knows. Exercise is also so important to our back and neck pain patient’s recovery and future prevention of the pain. We are with our Williamson chiropractic patients every step of the way to get the most of the exercise effort so that it results in pain prevention and relief.
OPTIMAL NECK PAIN EXERCISE GUIDES
Neck pain sufferers realize how pain may reduce their ability to look around comfortably. Such neck pain patients were assessed as to their cervical range of motion and pain intensity with a flexion-rotation test. They were then instructed to do a 20-minutes cervical spine exercise session. Half of them were then also treated with manual therapy applied to the C0-C1 and C2-C3 cervical spine levels. Those who performed the exercise program and received manual therapy managed significantly better in terms of range of motion, pain intensity reduction, and the flexion-rotation test. (1) Another research project revealed that the optimal stretching time of cervical muscles in patients with chronic myofascial pain syndrome was 30 seconds as contrasted with 15 or 60 seconds or no stretching. This permitted the most benefit to pain intensity decrease while minimizing any negative effects on neural function of the affected nerve roots and central nervous system. (2) Apple Country Chiropractic always highlights that the proper exercise performed in proper form doesn’t have to take long to be useful! Additionally, exercise lays some control in the hands of its sufferer since exercise can be done anytime.
OPTIMAL LOW BACK PAIN EXERCISE GUIDES
Integrating exercise training into the multidisciplinary treatment of non-specific chronic low back pain does make sense. This type of back pain affects so many people around the world and is a foremost cause of disability. Proper exercise training transitions the back pain patient to self-management. Recently, researchers suggested that pain intensity and disability - and even mental health issues in such back pain patients - were improved with options like resistance and aerobic exercise while Pilates, resistance exercise, yoga, and stabilization exercise. (3) Apple Country Chiropractic agrees! Exercise is invaluable in so many ways.
