Ultrasound

As a therapeutic modality, ultrasound is a form of heat treatment for soft tissues injuries to reduce swelling and pain, reduce muscle spasms, and increase range of motion. Making high frequency sounds waves, ultrasound reaches deep into an injured area, creating heat that draws blood into the area to being the repair process.

Ultrasound is applied gently with a handheld soundhead, using strokes or circles over the affected area. An ultrasound gel may be applied during the ultrasound therapy session. Ultrasounds' role is to speed your healing time and reduce your pain.
